The facilities at Melbourne University Sport are considered among the very best in Melbourne. Following a $5.3 million architecturally designed refurbishment, the heritage-listed Beaurepaire Centre now provides state-of-the-art fitness facilities for the University Community. The Beaurepaire Centre, which was used for training in the 1956 Olympic Games, includes a 25m, six-lane heated indoor lap pool, the 850m2 two level Strength & Fitness Gym provides the latest pin-loaded and free weight gym equipment as well as a mezzanine cardio zone with inspiring views overlooking the athletics track and sports fields and a personal training studio. Facilities in the Sports Centre building include 6 squash courts, a Group Cycling Studio, MindBody Studio, Cardio Box Studio, Massage & Physiotherapy Clinic and 2 Multi-purpose stadiums. All senior club members have access to heavily discounted memberships for Melbourne University Sport's fitness and sports centres. |
