Antonia Tsiakalakis has become the first MUGARS youth girl player to reach 50 games. Antonia has been playing in the youth girls western league for the last 5 years - which is when the competition started (2005).

Antonia has always challenged herself as a footballer and developed wonderful defensive skills. Although her long accurate kicking is usually reserved for kickouts in defence, she can take strong marks and kick goals – making her an incredibly versatile player. As a team member she leads by example by being hard working, disciplined, and always keeping a cool head under pressure. For all these footballing reasons, and being a genuinely caring, and compassionate person she has the respect of all her team mates.


In 2010, her final year being eligible for youth girls she is the team captain after being in a leadership role last year.


We hope, like her sister Eugenia, she makes the transition into senior football - where her experience, leadership and skills will make her an excellent asset to the team.
